DDA members are appointed by the Mayor subject to approval by the City Council. No less than a majority of the members shall be persons having an interest in  development plans; acquiring and disposing of interests in real and personal property and promoting economic growth in the business district of the city. Interested applicants may fill an application with the City Clerk at 86 W. Center Street, Douglas MI 49406 or send an email to: jneve@ci.douglas.mi.us

Mission Statement

To promote the growth and development of the downtown district in the Village of Douglas.

Note: The downtown district extends along Center Street, from Washington Street on the east, to Blue Star Highway on the west. Also, it extends north and south of Center Street by 1/2 block.
